“It’s Not Me Who Paints, But He Paints by Me”

Cube.Moscow hosted an evening marking the release of the documentary “It’s Not Me Who Paints, But He Paints by Me”, produced by Foma Kino studio.
Admirers of the artist’s work, figures from the arts, collectors and friends gathered for the screening and a meeting with its hero. Before the film, saxophonist Sergei Khramtsevich played variations on the soundtrack on baritone sax, and composer Yuri Negrebetsky presented the film’s main themes in a new arrangement.
After the screening, director Alexander Lebedev and Nikolay Cherednichenko answered questions from the audience. The evening closed with the artist’s own tour of the paintings featured in the film, which hung on the walls of the hall.
